Meet Dr. Habib

Dr. Mary Habib, DVM

Dr. Mary Habib graduated from the University of Alexandria, Egypt in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Veterinary Medicine Science. Dr. Mary moved to Canada with her family in 2018 and started the process to practice veterinary medicine shortly after her arrival. Dr. Mary is registered in both the Canadian board CVMA & the American board AVMA. Dr. Mary joined the Lincoln team in 2022 and considers Lincoln Animal Hospital as her second home.

Dr. Mary enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine; however, she has developed a special interest in soft tissue surgery & veterinary dentistry of dogs, cats. Dr. Mary looks forward to continuing to develop new skills and techniques that will aid in keeping all your furry friends healthy! Dr. Mary says that the absolutely best part of her profession is that it allows her to make a difference. Whether it is preventative health care, helping a new life enter the world, or assisting a sick friend to be comfortable and having the best possible quality of life. She’s compassionate and treasures the long-term relationships that she develops with her clients as they work together to ensure that their pets receive the best care possible and are always treated with kindness, compassion and respect.

In different stages of her life, Dr. Mary has had multiple furry friends in different countries! After moving to Canada, Dr. Mary adopted Flurry, a female Maltese Yorkie, who she’s had since she was a 8wk old puppy  Dr. Mary says that Flurry has been her companion in all the milestones of her life in Canada and that she has been (without knowing) The Guardian Angel of her family! Besides being a veterinarian, Dr. Mary is a mother of 2 awesome kids! And outside of the hospital, Dr. Mary loves music, singing, and dancing! She’s also a very crafty person, and a very passionate baker that enjoys cake baking and decorating A LOT.
