Caroline

Caroline, RVT
We’re excited to have Caroline as part of our team. Her journey into veterinary medicine began seven years ago when her best friend encouraged her to take a receptionist role at a clinic. That experience, along with adopting a palliative care dog, revealed her true passion for caring for and treating patients. Inspired by that love, she applied to the Douglas College Registered Veterinary Technologist program, where she graduated in 2022 and went on to successfully pass her national exam to become an RVT.
Since then, she has embraced her role wholeheartedly, bringing both compassion and dedication to every patient she meets. She has a strong passion for nutrition, patient comfort, and end-of-life care, and is currently working toward her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Nutrition. Her commitment to growth and her genuine care for animals and their families make her an invaluable part of our team.
Outside of the clinic, she shares her life with two dogs: Perogie, an American Pitbull Terrier mix, and Truffle, a scruffy mutt (you may occasionally see visiting here), two cats, Samson and Moe, and a leopard gecko named Kobe. When she’s not working, she loves spending time outdoors hiking, paddleboarding, or riding horses, and she enjoys photography as another creative outlet.
A Note from Caroline:
“Adopting my palliative care dog truly changed my life. I feel so fortunate to be in a profession that combines my love for animals with my desire to make a difference in their comfort, health, and happiness. I’m excited to continue growing as an RVT and to support both patients and their families every step of the way.”
