Jaida

Jaida, VA
We are lucky to have Jaida as a compassionate and dedicated part of our team. Jaida brings energy, empathy, and a growing depth of experience to her role as a Veterinary Assistant. Her journey into veterinary medicine began in middle school, when a chance conversation with a veterinary technician sparked a lasting passion. Hearing about the difference vet professionals make in animals’ lives inspired Jaida to pursue a career in the field, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Jaida officially joined the veterinary industry about two years ago and graduated from the VOAC program in February 2024, earning her Veterinary Office Assistant credentials. She is especially drawn to patient nursing and finds it incredibly rewarding to care for animals recovering from procedures or to assist doctors during the diagnostic process. These moments not only fuel her love for the job, but also help her build valuable skills as she works toward becoming a veterinary technician.
At home, Jaida shares her life with a small (and very loved) menagerie: three cats (Luna, Callie, and Mischief) a hedgehog named Willow, and a mud turtle named Crush. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, hiking, reading, and swimming.
A Note from Jaida:
“Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to help animals. Meeting a veterinary technician as a kid helped me realize this was something I could truly do, and love. I feel so grateful to be in a field where I get to care for animals and support their recovery while learning every day. Being part of the Lincoln team is helping me grow into the vet tech I aspire to be.”
